APPRENTICESHIP JUNIOR DEVELOPPEMENT PROJECT MANAGER
MISSION:
We are looking for an apprentice Junior Development Project Manager (M/F) to join our Cookware business unit.
This apprenticeship contract will be based in Rumilly, near Annecy (74), for a period of 36 months, starting from September 2017 (depending on the availability of the selected candidate).
Working within a multidisciplinary Marketing / Development team at the worldwide headquarters of the Cookware business unit, you will be actively involved in managing development projects for products in the Kitchenware sector (kitchen and preparation utensils, knives, bakeware etc.) in an international environment, with cost, quality and time scale objectives.
Working under Senior Development Project Managers, you will be in charge of product range publicity projects and variants that are tailor-made to suit customer requirements (developments in colours, changing brands or changing packaging for an existing project).
Your mission will then progress towards managing new product projects (preliminary study, study and finalisation of the product), within the respect of Group procedures.
You will work very closely with the Marketing department, which will previously define the product range to be developed and the cost and time-scale objectives, and with the Quality department, which will define the expected level of performance and quality.
You will also work very closely with our Sourcing team based in Hong Kong for projects developed in China.
PROFILE:
Having completed a technical qualification (DUT or BTS type diploma) in product design or similar, you would like to gain some significant experience in product development for a major international group whilst completing a degree in engineering.
This mission requires the ability to analyse and summarise, creativity and discipline in order to implement some very diverse solutions, which have only been defined in outline.
An ability to take the initiative, a good sense of team spirit and a capacity to adapt will help you succeed in this mission.
