LABORATORY MANAGER
MISSION:
We are looking for a LABORATORY MANAGER to join our Home Cleaning business unit.
The position is based at the Group's vacuum cleaner centre of expertise at our factory in Vernon, 80 km from Paris and 50 km from Rouen.
Working in a growing sector of fast-changing products, you will manage a team of 10 laboratory and design quality technicians within a Development department of 50 people.
As an experienced and pragmatic manager, you will contribute to the success of product development by ensuring that development and approval testing is carried out on schedule, fitting out the laboratory with equipment to improve its performance and profitability, introducing efficient testing methodologies and ensuring that products meet the regulatory certification requirements.
To achieve this, you will work with Product Development teams and with external service providers and laboratories. You will analyse, enhance, challenge, standardise, prescribe, propose and capitalise on solutions.
You enjoy working in a technical environment and you have recognised communication and persuasion skills.
PROFILE:
You have five years' higher education in general engineering, possibly with a specialisation in mechanical engineering or physics, with at least seven years' experience in laboratory management.
The post will involve regular international travel.
